St. Andrew's Terrace

St. Andrew’s Terrace is a Life Lease outreach project of St. Andrew’s Residence, Chatham.

Constructed in 1998, this five story building houses 32 self sufficient units consisting of one bedroom, one bedroom and den, two bedrooms with one bathroom and two bedrooms with two bathrooms.

This is the only Life Lease project in Chatham-Kent. Residents purchase a lease to occupy the unit space and are free to sell the lease at any time.

Residents must be 55 years of age or over and there are pet restrictions. All units are allotted one parking space, most of which are located in the parking garage on the ground floor.

In an effort to provide the highest degree of security, access to the building is by way of an enterphone system. Upon entering the inside lobby, two elevators are in service to access the upper floors. On the fifth floor a large common room is available to the residents for family gatherings as well as cards and other social get-togethers.

From the second floor, an enclosed walkway leads across the driveway to St. Andrew’s Residence main lobby. Residents from the Terrace can take part in activities at the Residence or enjoy a home cooked meal.

On an emergency basis, Terrace residents can receive nursing care from the Residence since there is nursing staff available twenty four hours a day.

Located within walking distance of downtown Chatham and with access to the many services offered at the Residence, the Terrace is a wonderful place to call home
