St. Andrew's Foundation
The St. Andrew’s Residence Foundation was incorporated on June 15, 1993, as a Charitable Corporation. The purpose of the Foundation is to provide financial assistance to St. Andrew’s Residence, a non-profit, charitable Home for seniors.
The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that works in partnership with the administration of St. Andrew’s Residence to support and sustain an excellent retirement facility which continues to meet the needs and enhances the quality of life for seniors.
Through our Planned Giving Program the Foundation receives donations and bequests from individuals, and groups who have a belief that St. Andrew’s Residence is a definite asset to the community of Chatham-Kent.
Over the years, the Foundation has been instrumental in financing two major additions to the original 42-bed Residence which now provides accommodation and care to over 80 residents. The Foundation is currently supporting a complete renovation to the interior of the Residence with an anticipated completion date of mid-2009.
It is through the leadership of the Foundation and the generous support of our donors that St. Andrew’s Residence will continue as a premier facility in Chatham-Kent.
