SENIOR DAY OUT
The Senior Day Out Program at St. Andrew’s Residence is funded through the Local Health Integrated Network (LHIN) and is offered to the Residents of Chatham Kent aged 60 years or older, who are living in their own home or with family members.
The program runs Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., at a cost for clients within the city limits of Chatham at $15.00 and outside the city limits of Chatham at $17.00. This covers the cost of round trip transportation, programming for the day, a hot noon meal and a hydro sonic bath if requested.
Other services such as hair dressing/barber and foot care are also available at an additional cost.
St. Andrew’s Senior Day Out Program promotes social interaction by encouraging their participation in parties, crafts, travel series, card games, shuffleboard, bus trips as well as many other activities.
We have dedicated caring staff with various credentials, degrees and diplomas, who are supported by volunteers who assist them in providing a diversified program.
