Meals On Wheels
For over 30 years, Meals on Wheels has been delivering hot savoury meals to the Residents within the city limits of Chatham. St. Andrew’s Residence along with our Meals on Wheels volunteers, are proud to continue this tradition every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Funded by the Erie-St. Clair Local Health Integration Network (LHIN), Meals on Wheels, Chatham promotes health and supports independence by preparing and delivering nutritious meals to people in need of this service. Menus are balanced to ensure our clients get the nutrients they need to be healthy. We can also accommodate special dietary requirements.
EVERY MEAL CONTAINS:
- SOUP
- BISCUIT OR MUFFIN
- ENTREE
- POTATO OR PASTA
- VEGETABLE
- DESSERT
All meals cost six dollars ($6.00) and are delivered between 11:30am and 12:30pm every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
In addition to providing good meals, the Meals on Wheels, Chatham service also provides consistent, social contact with each client in an effort to reduce isolation.
